If you have already created a macys.com profile, the following steps will guide you in creating your registry. (If you have not yet created a profile, you can do so Click here.)

1. Click here to create your registry.
2. From this page, you can click "Get Started" to create your Registry OR "Link Store Registry" if you started your Registry in a Macy's store.
3. Enter the email address and password you created for your macys.com account
4. Enter your event details
5. Click "Register"

Once completed, your registry will be available in stores immediately and in about an hour online. Remember, if you started your registry in store, you must claim your in-store registry here before it is available online. See how your rewards can add up by enrolling in the Star Rewards program!

To add items to your registry:

• Sign into your registry
• Select "View Our Registry"
• Select a category
• Select a product
• Click "Add To Registry"

To edit/delete items on your registry:

• Sign in to your registry
• Select "View Our Registry"
• Enter the new quantity in the "Still Need" column or the "Remove Item" link to delete the item
• Click "Save Changes"

When shopping in stores, you can use the Macy's Mobile App to add items to your registry with your smartphone:

• Download Macy's application
• In the bottom right-hand corner, click on your name
• Click on "Your Registry"
• When you are in your registry, click on "add gifts"
• Browse gift options if you are shopping on the go
• Scan barcode options if you are shopping in the store

If an item is available to add to your registry, you will see the "Add to Registry" button on the product detail page under the red "Add To Bag" button.

Only Home and select Beauty products are available to be added to a registry. Due to circumstances such as product recall and discontinued products, some items may not be available to add to a registry.

In order to sync to a universal registry, your Macy’s registry must be set to Public so that it can be identified.

At this time, a registry cannot be created for our customers with an international address. If your shipping address is within the U.S. or its territories, however, you are welcome to create a registry with us.

There are several reasons why an item may show as purchased but you have yet to receive it:

• The item was recently purchased and shipped and is still in transit.
• Your guest may not have had a chance to deliver the item(s) to you.
• The item is on backorder and has yet to ship.
• The item may have been returned.

If you provided an email address when you registered, you will receive a notification when items are placed on backorder. Please make sure that your spam filter is off and that you add macys.com to your address book as a trusted source.

Your registry will be available in stores and online for 13 months after your occasion or 13 months from the last date of activity on the registry, whichever occurs last.

The time limits for gift registry returns are calculated from the event date:

• If the item was purchased prior to the occasion or event date, items may be exchanged or returned (with receipt) 90 days from the event date
• If the item was purchased after the occasion or event date, items may be exchanged or returned (with receipt) 90 days from the purchase date
